As parents, we were disappointed in the apps for kids who are learning to write letters… they seemed a bit like… well… exactly what you would get on paper. We thought technology could do better.
So, we wrote a new app. “LetterWriter: Oceans” helps kids who are first learning how to write their capital letters. It helps them start to internalize the starting points for each stroke (the part our son was having difficulty with). Once they practice each letter four times, they are rewarded with a rhyme about the letter. The relaxing soundtrack is pleasant, no matter how many times you hear it, and the graphics are really beautiful. Each letter hosts a special graphic. We found our toddler and our Kindergartner both enjoy it
